Artist Talk and panel discussion, moderator: Yoav Horesh

The photojournalists Maggie Steber and Annika Haas talk about how their documentary work is influenced by their gender, and the woman perspective exists in photography. They also comment upon working in a profession where only 15% are women. Moderator: Elizabeth M. Claffey
Maggie Steber is a multi-awarded American photographer, who has been rewarded by World Press Photo, Leica Medal of Excellence as well as appointed one of 11 Women of Vision by the National Geographic Magazine.
Annika Haas is also a multiawarded photographer from Estonia, and editor of portraits and documentary photos at the Estonian photo magazine Positiv. She also is a lecturer in photography at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
Moderator Elizabeth M. Claffey is Associate Professor in Photography at the Indiana University, as well as Research Foundation Fellow at the Sex, Gender and Reproduction department at Kinsley Institute.
