About the exhibition
“It is a privilege when someone lets you come close, when someone allows you to share a private moment in time and space. When people close their eyes, something interesting happens. The atmosphere gets more intimate and vulnerable. The energy changes and a fascinating mutual trust is created.”
About the photographer
Johanna Liljestrand Rönn seeks intimacy and calmness in her landscape as well as portrait photography. She started to work with analog photography in 2012, when she happened to come across a Nikon EL2 from 1977. After developing her first roll of film she was completely hooked. Nowadays she mainly works with medium format cameras but also a large format one, which she uses for portraits mostly.
